Job Title: Product Marketing Director
The Product Marketing Director is a key position within the company to drive growth by successfully positioning and messaging the company’s products and solutions, and enabling marketing and sales with effective tools. We are looking for a seasoned Product Marketing professional with leadership skills to create differentiated positioning and messaging, content and sales tools for our fast growing data integration and Big Data management product portfolio.
This individual will work closely with sales, product management and other marketing functions to oversee all aspects of internal and external product marketing activities, including product releases and launches. They will define program strategies to drive demand and enable sales teams.
Critical success factors are initiative, ability to work independently, ability to effectively communicate technical products and solutions, and generate exceptional content. We seek customer-focused, self-starting candidates with a passion for evangelizing the business value of technology.
Responsibilities:
Develop expertise on market segments, customers and buying behavior
Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging
Create exceptional content, including sales decks, data sheets, FAQs and whitepapers
Define go-to-market strategies
Evangelize the company and products, internally and externally
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of enterprise Product Marketing experience
Experience and knowledge in data management, data integration and/or Big Data
Technical aptitude and proven ability to communicate technical products into business solutions
Excellent writing and public speaking skills
Independence, accountability and self-motivation.
Results oriented team player that is capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment
Highly organized and able to prioritize projects in a dynamic environment
MBA, computer science or engineering background a plus
